Upcoming Group: Families in Transition

Upcoming Group: Families in Transition

The uncovering of one’s most authentic identity is a courageous journey, but it doesn’t happen in a vacuum. When one person shifts to take steps toward their truest self, it requires the entire system to evolve. Families in Transition is an upcoming support group for parents of gender expansive children facilitated by Co-Directors Jacqueline Plante (she/her), LMFT and Traci Medeiros-Bagan [she/they], LMFT.

Jacqueline received her Bachelor and Master’s Degrees from Cal State Fullerton and worked as a trainee and intern at the LGBT Center in Santa Ana and the Pacific Clinics Sierra Family Center before starting a private practice specializing in romantic, friendship, and familial relationships.

Traci has a BA in Critical Gender Studies with a focus in Sexuality from UC San Diego and an MA in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University. They have been in private practice for 10 years, specializing in work with QTPOC lived experience and TGNC identities. They have presented a workshop version of "Families in Transition" at numerous educational conferences across the United States.
