THIS IS THE third COURSE IN OUR LGBTQ+ AFFIRMING CARE SERIES AND OFFERS guidance for specializing in LGBTQ+ Mental Health Care.

Caring for LGBTQ+ individuals requires comprehension of unique stressors and health needs due to societal bias. They are a health disparity group needing focused attention. This course empowers practitioners to understand minority stress, care barriers, and community diversity, emphasizing visibility, advocacy, and allyship.

Join our free 3-part LGBTQ+ Affirming Care Workshop Series, tailored for mental health professionals. This beginner to intermediate series includes the modules: "Introduction to LGBTQ+ Inclusive Care", "Foundations of an LGBTQ+ Inclusive Practice", and "Specializing in LGBTQ+ Mental Health Care". Facilitated by Gather & Grow OC Co-Directors Jacqueline Plante and Traci Medeiros, the series offers strategies for addressing LGBTQ+ mental health challenges and promotes inclusive, respectful care.
